What We Did

Bluehost wanted to see if UK students would be interested in setting up e-commerce and portfolio websites and receive help and advice getting started.

We set up in the retail area of The University of Birmingham’s Student Guild with a bespoke Bluehost promotional counter.

Three staff handed out flyers and collected data from interested students that wanted to know more and build with us.Oh and we gave student’s Haribo so everyone was happy!

Why It Rocked

3,000 direct interactions in just one day.

Our target for leads was smashed with beating our target by 42% .

Students really engaged with the product. The overwhelming feedback from students was that they were interested and would like to learn more.

This information can be used to shape Bluehost’s future UK expansion.

We also handed out all of our Haribo (but perhaps this isn’t surprising).
